Progress continues on Daystar's Kitchen Renovation! In August and September, new walls were constructed and prepped for tile and paint. Soon after, the tile was laid in the kitchen, storage room, and nearby accessible restroom. The new walk-in refrigerator/freezer was properly and safely installed, and the pantry was built. More recently, two windows were added to the kitchen office, providing natural light and an excellent view. The epoxy floor will be poured this week. It will provide an ideal non-slip surface that’s easy to clean and a lovely new reminder of the solid foundation on which this project rests.
