I was admitted suffering intermittent attacks of severe pain in my upper and lover back. The slightest movement seemed to aggravate the attacks.
With the dedicated work of a Christian Science practitioner and the very loving care of the Christian Science nurses, I improved within a few days and was able to walk out of the facility to return home in two weeks.
I especially appreciated the love and care I received from the Christian Science nurses. The daily hymn sings which involved both patients and Christian Science nurses were inspiring. Regular broadcasts of the Weekly Bible Lesson and other Christian Science materials were helpful, and a Christian Science nurse supplied me with a CD player in my room so I could listen to recordings of Science and Health at night. I enjoyed companionship at mealtimes with other Christian Scientists seeking healing.
